Gratitude in action
Saying "thank you for your service" matters. Backing it up with laps in the pool and real dollars raised matters more.
Swim teams · Serving those who served
Swim to Serve helps swim teams raise money and write letters for the men and women who served. Every event, date, and sign-up link lives right here.
What we do
Pick an event to see what it is, when it's happening, and where to sign up.
Who we are
Swim to Serve is a nonprofit started by swimmers who wanted the hours we spend at the pool to mean something beyond the scoreboard. We partner with swim teams to turn practices, meets, and team nights into ways to give back to veterans.
Teams swim, families and friends pledge, and the money raised goes to organizations that support veterans. Alongside the fundraising, swimmers write personal letters, because a handwritten thank-you can mean as much as a donation.
Why we do this
Saying "thank you for your service" matters. Backing it up with laps in the pool and real dollars raised matters more.
Working for something bigger than a meet result builds a team culture that lasts long after the season ends.
Our letter drives make sure veterans, including those in hospitals and care homes, hear from someone who cares.
Coach a team, swim on one, or just want to help? We'd love to hear from you.
